Construction roots that go back to 1976
Jim Byrne began his construction career working on homes in the Stewartville area. In 1976, Jim and Sharon Byrne started Jim Byrne Construction. Over the years the business developed a strong concrete focus, particularly home foundations and flatwork, while decorative concrete and insulated concrete forms expanded the range of options available to homeowners and builders.
Over the years, the company’s work has included poured foundations, driveways, patios, pool areas, floors, exposed aggregate, stamped concrete, stained concrete and ICF construction. That range still reflects the practical mix of structural and finished concrete needed by homes, businesses and rural properties in Southeast Minnesota.
Serving Rochester, Stewartville and nearby communities
Jim Byrne Construction has long-standing roots in Stewartville and serves projects throughout the Rochester area and surrounding Southeast Minnesota communities. That local coverage includes residential neighborhoods, new construction sites, commercial properties and rural acreage where concrete needs can range from a front walk to a complete foundation or large equipment slab.
A practical concrete approach
Concrete projects are shaped by site conditions. We focus the planning conversation on grades, drainage, load, access, finish and how the new work connects to the existing property. That keeps the recommendation tied to what the concrete has to do rather than to a one-size-fits-all package.
