Planning before concrete arrives
Every flatwork project begins with elevations. We look at where water should move, how the new surface meets doors, garages, streets and existing concrete, and whether removal or excavation is required before the base can be prepared.
Built for Southeast Minnesota conditions
Freeze-thaw cycles in Rochester and Southeast Minnesota are unforgiving of trapped water and unstable base material. Proper slope, air-appropriate exterior concrete, joint placement and curing are part of building flatwork for the local climate.
Finish and project options
Broom finish is practical for many exterior surfaces, while decorative stamping, exposed aggregate and color can make patios, entries and selected driveways more distinctive. Interior floors may call for a smoother finish or later staining.
