Planning before concrete arrives
Preparation determines whether an overlay bonds. Existing sealers, weak surface paste, contamination and cracks have to be addressed, and the slab must be stable enough that new material is not simply following ongoing movement.
Built for Southeast Minnesota conditions
Exterior overlays in Minnesota face the same freeze-thaw and moisture exposure as the original slab. Product selection, surface preparation, drainage and curing matter more than appearance alone.
Finish and project options
A resurfaced slab can stay relatively simple or use color and texture for a decorative update. Some systems can imitate stone or provide a fresh uniform finish over a weathered but stable surface.
