Evaluate the slab before choosing the method
Leveling only makes sense after the cause and condition are considered. We look at slab cracking, settlement pattern, drainage, edge access and whether the concrete is strong enough to lift. A badly broken slab may still be a better replacement candidate.
Rochester-area conditions matter
Freeze-thaw, erosion and moisture movement can contribute to settlement around Rochester. Correcting the elevation can improve safety and drainage, but water sources and washed-out support should also be addressed so the same conditions are not ignored.
Project and finish options
Depending on the project and available system, lifting can use injected material to fill voids and raise a slab without full demolition. The goal is controlled correction, not forcing damaged concrete beyond what it can tolerate.
