Evaluate the slab before choosing the method
The final appearance depends heavily on the slab. Flatness, aggregate exposure, repairs, previous coatings and curing products can all influence the result. New slabs intended for polishing should be discussed before placement so finishing and curing choices support the later polishing process.

Polished concrete is an indoor finish, so Minnesota freeze-thaw is not the main concern. Instead, the local advantage is a hard, cleanable surface that handles tracked-in snow and everyday wear without relying on a topical floor covering.
Project and finish options
